Debra K. Mason, CPA/CFF, CFE

Debra is the managing director and a shareholder of Thomas, Head & Greisen, PC. She has lived and worked in Anchorage for over 40 years. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Alaska. In addition to managing the firm, she manages the firm's services with regards to litigation support and forensic accounting. She has directed engagements for audits, attestation assertions, reviews, agreed upon procedures, and compilations. Debra became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in 2003. She provides support for litigation in such areas as fraud examinations, wage and hour claims and cost accounting issues.

Debra is a member of the Alaska Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She is or has served on boards for the Anchorage Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners, Anchorage International Rotary Club, Rotary District 5010 finance committee, Saint Benedict Church finance committee and the Catholic Foundation of Alaska. Debra is the treasurer for the Anchorage International Rotary Club for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. She currently serves as treasurer for Rotary District 5010 Grants fund.

Debra obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Montana State University in June 1981.

Erich R. Lamirand, CPA

Erich was named a director of the firm on October 1, 2007. He has been with Thomas, Head and Greisen, PC since 1997. He practices primarily in tax and has more than 30 years of related public accounting experience. In addition, Erich provides business consulting with an emphasis on medical and dental practices. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants (AKCPA).

Erich graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and received his Master's degree in taxation from Portland State University in 1989.

Cindy L. Hulquist, CPA

Cindy has been with Thomas, Head & Greisen since 1996, and is a director and shareholder of the firm. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in Alaska since 1993. Cindy began her public accounting career with Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand, and has over 30 years of accounting experience, in both public and private accounting.

Cindy’s experience includes tax compliance, planning and consulting for businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations. Cindy also has extensive experience with Estate, Trust and Gift taxation.

Cindy received her Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting degree from the University of Alaska-Anchorage. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants (AKCPA), the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Anchorage Estate Planning Council. Cindy held the office of President of the Anchorage Estate Planning Council for the 2012/2013 year, and previously served as Treasurer on the Board of Anchorage Youth Court during 2010-2016.

Shane A. Baird, CPA 

Shane became a director of the firm on December 1, 2018. Shane has been with Thomas, Head and Greisen since 2006 with a focus on audit and accounting. Shane has more than 16 years of public accounting experience in planning and performing financial statement reviews and audits, financial statement preparation and accounting training and consulting.

Shane has performed work in such areas as for-profit and non-profit organizations and in governmental (cities, boroughs, school districts, etc.). He has experience in various industries including retail operations, service organizations, contractors, Native corporations and 401(K) plans. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors. He has served as Treasurer and Secretary of the board for the Anchorage Park Foundation and as President of the board for Alaska's Last Frontier Chapter of Construction Financial Management Association.

Shane was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. While attending the University of Alaska, Anchorage he was a Gold Key member, an active member in the accounting and economics clubs, made the Chancellor's list and was a Beta Gamma Sigma honoree for graduating in the top 10% of his class.

Carrie J Garrity, CPA, MBA

Carrie was named a director of the firm on December 23, 2023. Before joining Thomas, Head & Greisen, PC, in July of 2014, Carrie worked in management and accounting, primarily in the private sector for international events. Her experience in public accounting includes federal and state tax compliance and planning in the real estate and retail industries. In addition, she has experience in planning and performing financial statement audits for commercial entities and employee benefit plans. She is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in Alaska and Oregon

Carrie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants (AKCPA) and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accounts (ORCPA).

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family and reading.

Renee Bergeron, CPA, MBA

Renee became a director at Thomas, Head & Greisen, PC in December 2025.  Renee joined Thomas, Head & Greisen in 2017 bringing more than ten years of public accounting experience with her.

Renee has extensive knowledge in tax services for individual, partnership, S-Corp, and C Corp tax returns. She provides tax and consulting services, specializing in medical practices, cannabis taxation, entity selection, consolidated entity reporting, small business compliance, and controllership services.

In addition to tax compliance and consulting, Renee specializes in IRS exams and taxpayer representation.

Renee is a graduate of the University of Alaska with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Western Governor’s University.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants (AKCPA).  Renee served as president of the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants in 2021-2022.
